Tang Soo Do sessions begin tomorrow

Martial Arts Club at Sac State will be having it’s first Tang Soo Do session starting tomorrow 7:40 pm at Yosemite 183 with instructor Ethan Wong.

Similar to Ken Ng’s Tai Chi, they share similar principles of parrying and redirecting energy, but the type of training emphasizes more explosive striking, similar to Karate and Tae Kwon Do.

Come check it out and I’m sure you’ll have fun and a good workout. If you like, feel free to email me and I can give you my phone number in case you have any questions.

New instructor coming onboard

I’m excited to let everyone know that my good friend and instructor Ethan Wong will be teaching Tang Soo Do starting Monday, November 5th. He’ll be doing Mondays 7:40-9:30pm at Yosemite 183 until December 3.

This is a great opportunity to learn since he was a National champion in free-sparring and is accomplished in many other aspects of martial arts, kinesiology, and exercise science. There are only 4 sessions this semester so I highly recommend coming ASAP.

Hope to see you there!
